Brett entered the world of wealth management in 2014 after ten years of working as a financial news editor and reporter for publications in the Midwest, Paris, and the New York Times. This background has helped him better understand complex financial instruments and strategies in which he can then make relatable to his clients.
He then joined his father, Allen Corbin in 2014, and spent the last ten years learning the business first hand. After his fathers retirement, Brett joined Baird in 2024 and continues to honor his fathers legacy and client first approach by focusing on helping individuals and families build wealth so that they can accomplish their goals and achieve financial independence. He specializes in financial planning, wealth management, business owners solutions, and retirement plans, 401(k)s, SEP IRAs, cash balance plans.
Outside of work, Brett enjoys travelling, golfing and boating on the Ohio River with his wife, Samantha, and two step-children, Jack and Ella. He is also involved in several community organizations, including the Speed Art Museum, the Rotary Club of Downtown Louisville and the Downtown YMCA, where he tries to swim at least 100 miles a year.
